our addition: who wore it better

< outfit repeat-er >
an individual who wears the same outfit (a set of clothing) more than once
seems to be more of a female thing because it doesn't really apply to males

when you're on vay-cay in europe
[with one backpack per girl]
you are bound to swap some itens here and there
                                                                                   . . . . . you have to
especially when your friends have cute stuff
while we were traveling we did repeat outfits
well between the 5 of us
outfits popped up on {different} girls
on {different} days
in {different} photos

. . proof . .
coats

dresses

accesories

repeats right...
and no need to vote for real
aka- who wore it better
i just thought that it was funny how we all swaped things

eat

we ate our fair share of food while we were in europe.
let me RE-PHRASE
we ate our fair share of treats and sweets while we were in europe
* i always blog about the food i eat *
[always]
that is why i go to the gym these days
to balance out the food i choose to eat
this is true
of course on this europe adventure we ate some great food

worth it every time
--happy stomachs--
de-lic-ious

spotted: cat naps

[when we weren't]
adventuring
walking
shopping
site seeing
taking photos
eating treats
people watching
. . . and so on . . .

we were catching up on some much needed sleep
z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z.z
the camera caught us fitting in snooze time whenever we could
it usually happened on trains. plains. and automobiles.

but it is understandable
we were on a {non stop} marathon for two weeks
i wouldn't have changed a second of it

ryan air

i truly h.a.t.e this european airline company
everytime i have bad luck with them
[aka... they take MORE of my money]
when my sister and i flew with them last year we always had a problem
this last time was no different
... they took it from amy

want to know why
because she didn't print her boarding pass from home
well she did.. but she didn't have page 3 of 3..
they charged her 40 euros for this
40 euros
to PRINT her pass at their desk
they said once it's 4 hours till departure, they are the only ones that have access to it so they then charged her 40 euros

pros
ryan air is cheap
it flies in and out of the major cities

cons
always in stressful situations with them
they find ways to charge you
the seats DO NOT recline
the carry on baggage size is rather small

* * i always leave their flights thinking it was not worth it...

what 40 euros could have bought her instead
an endless supply of macaroons
clothes.. well at least a new blouse
post cards
{ANYTHING}

oh well....

who wore it better

we all know this game
it is always played in the weekly edition of [people] or [us weekly] magazines
when two celebs are wearing the same thing and you try to guess "who wore it better"
(examples below)

* * well we are going to have our own page of that * *
why
because when you travel with 5 {stylish} girls
you are bound to wear each other's clothes

and that we did
many things were swaped
headbands, tops, dresses, coats, blouses, hats
you name it
we all shared
we thought it would be funny to have a "who wore it better"
just for fun
and laughs

......................so photos coming soon
let the comparing begin

how do we achieve balance in our lives

i feel like i have that {balance} that most people search for

"live a balanced life – learn some and think some and draw and paint and sing and dance and play and work every day some."

"balance is possible and well worth the effort sometimes required to achieve it."

my celeb look alike...

as we walked the streets and markets of morocco, local men would shout out names as we passed.
at first it was an assortment of random names [lady gaga, shakira, hannah montana, jessica simpson]
we just kept walking by, laughing at their comments.
but then emily and i started to get the same names thrown our way.

- - repeatedly - -
over.and.over
multiple times

emily ::: got shakira
i ::: got hannah montana
seriously?
excuse me?
pardon me?
whatttttt?
how on earth?
why did emily get shakira
.........................lucky her
and i got hannah

blonde or brown... i just {don't} see it
yes i did support her tunes back in the day
and yes i did see her in concert… twice
but SERIOUSLY
ughhhhh
i was not flattered… at all

i think the men of africa are blind
(just agree with me)

you learn something new every day

the average american consumes 150-170 pounds of sugar a [year]
: yea :
i believe it

....but this dessert was ohhhh so delicious

i rode a camel in africa.

::: i named her annabelle :::
- - believe it- -
who does that?
who gets that chance?
: : : : : : : :
and the movie "aladdin" lied...

tops from a day in paris

.. how did you spend your sunday ..
Sunday was a great day.
We started the morning with mass at Notre Dame. It was in French. I have seen that cathedral time and time again, but everytime it amazes me once again.

After mass we had crepes for lunch. We were able to find my favorite creperie in Paris! With the crepes in hand, we walked along the Seine River. Talk about a great start to a day. Some of the girls wanted to hit up the Louvre...
Been there {done that}
I opted for some people watching and browsing of shops. That is my favorite thing about Paris. It has some great people watching. I was with my friend Nicole and we grabbed some coffee at an outside cafe.

Dinner time came and we headed back to the Shurtleff household. She made us a feast! It was amazing. They had other young adults over too. We mingled and chatted for 2 hours! It was a great way to spend a Sunday night.

After dinner we wanted to head to the eiffel tower. It was time to see it sparkle. We got on the subway and headed to the tower. We made it in time to see it light up. It was beautiful! Some of the girls had never seen it! Great first time! We sat there for a long time... Just admiring it and enjoying the great company! We stayed for an hour. We took photos, we watched other tourists, and we even got a keychain thanks to Emo. She smootched a boy.. But that is a whole post in itself!
A Sunday in Paris... Lovely!

girls with imagination

that's us
: : let me tell this story : :
{setting} paris, france. near the arc de triomphe. side street.
{time} nearly midnight.
{characters} amy, emily, me.
it was late at night and we were roaming the streets of paris. to pass the time we resorted to role playing 3 young british women. talked their talk. walked their walk. using words like cheers, cheerio, lovely, bloody, rubbish, knickers, etc. and we were entertained for a long time.
[a half hour at least]
we were completely in our own world. telling each other of our english lives. never [ever] breaking the accent. we were naturals. only going on and on with stories. adding and building off each other's stories. endless stories. after we had walked for a long time we broke out in laughter. we were laughing at the fact that we had just passed the time with our "made up" lives. if anyone heard or saw us... how embarrassing! but it was so fun. we were dying of laughter.

girls with imaginations--24 years old.
talk about a good time.

We are off to morocco in the morning!

It is time for Africa

The weather says 92.... Oh yes

Angelina's

I made my way back to angelina's.

Home to my favorite hot chocolate place in Paris. Let me describe this treasure for you. It is my type of place:

It is a cute european tea room and cafe.
Antique sheek decor.
Vintage vibe.
White furnature.
Elaborate curtains and fabrics.

It was a great lunch stop.

There were 11 of us at the table. We enjoyed petite sandwiches that were delicious. We ordered one of every dessert and pastry. It was amazing! << 11 different ones to try >> This place is known for their delectable sweets.

Then we all had a cup of hot chocolate. I branched out and tried the white chocolate flavor. So rich and to die for!

It is a place thatust be visited by all young ladies. I make it angelina's each time. Photos will be posted soon!

Xoxo
with love from Europe
